Welcome
The Parents & Citizens Association (P&C) is the official parent organisation of the school.
The P&C is committed to working in collaboration with the school’s staff, students and school community on implementing projects and initiatives that improve each child’s school experience.
There are many ways to get involved with the P&C and we encourage parents, relatives, friends and community members to actively participate in the many aspects of school life.
Visit the Castle Hill Public School P&C website
The P& C consists of an executive team and financial members and provides the following services at CHPS:
The P&C also organises regular events throughout the year like Mother’s and Father's day stalls. For a full list of events click here.
The P&C meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every month during the school term at 7.00pm online via Zoom unless otherwise advised in the school newsletter. All members of our school community are welcome to attend our meetings and be involved in the planning and implementation of our projects and events. Click here for dates.
P&C Voluntary Contribution
CHPS is not a fundraising school, and that is why we request a voluntary contribution at the start of the school year. The voluntary contribution is invested back into to our school community. We have an incredibly generous, supportive and active parent body which has allowed the P&C to purchase and implement a wide range of infrastructure (both technological and recreational) as well as educational resources for the school.
Key points about the P&C Voluntary Contribution
- Currently set at $150.00 per student / $200.00 per family.
- 100% of these funds are returned to the school through a variety of projects, improving infrastructure and enhancing educational resources benefitting the whole school.
- Allows us to plan for large scale projects and yearly commitments to resources.
